On 08/26/2013, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the Bobcat of Frederick, located at 7649 Hayward Road, Frederick, MD in reference to a commercial burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined a Bobcat Utility Vehicle was taken from the lot. Through this investigation, it was determined the Bobcat was driven through a fence surrounding the business. At this same time, a truck pulling a horse trailer was observed on video surveillance in the area. The truck and trailer were observed entering the area of the carwash, which neighbors the Bobcat of Frederick. Based on the video surveillance, it is believed the Bobcat was loaded into the trailer and driven from the scene. The Bobcat has since been recovered with significant damage and several usage hours logged on the vehicle.
Bobcat of Frederick is offering a cash reward of $100 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person, or persons, responsible for the recent burglary involving the theft of the Bobcat Utility Vehicle.
