On 07/06/2013 the Frederick Police Department received a theft complaint in the 100 block of Alessandra Court Frederick MD. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division for follow-up investigation.
Det. Petruzzello was assigned as the primary investigator in this case. Det. Petruzzello identified the suspect in this case as Antwine Dwayne Snowden. Det. Petruzzello coordinated with detectives from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office who were working on a separate investigation involving Snowden.
Through the investigation Det. Petruzzello was able to determine that Antwine Snowden was working as a mover and the theft occurred while he was working as a mover for the victim. Items stolen during the theft were pawned by Snowden at a local pawn shop.
On 08/27/13 Det. Petruzzello submitted an application for statement of charges on Snowden. The District Court Commissioner issued a criminal summons charging Snowden with the below offenses related to this theft. On 08/27/13 Det. Petruzzello served the criminal summons on Snowden at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he was being held on unrelated charges.
