Frederick Police Department personnel investigate stabbing incident...
On 7/20/13, at approximately 0100 hours, Frederick Police Department Patrol Division officers responded to the 500 block of Cotswold Ct. for a stabbing. Officers located, Jenna Ruth Miller (W/F, 9-14-80) who was injured from an apparent assault. Detectives from the Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division were called to assist in the investigation. The investigation revealed that there was a domestic-related altercation at the residence of Miller, and she allegedly stabbed the victim, her live-in boyfriend. The investigation also revealed this was an isolated incident, and Miller was found to be the primary aggressor.
Miller was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, and the victim, was transported to the trauma center at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD for treatment of his wounds. The victim’s wounds were found to be superficial and non-life threatening; however, he had been stabbed several times in the leg. He has been treated and released.
Miller remains at Frederick Memorial Hospital, and charges against her are pending. At this time, there is no further information being released in reference to this case.
