Detectives with the Frederick City Police Department have identified the man found deceased alongside Butterfly Ln. Thursday morning, 7/18/13. Richard Pilvin, 60 years old, of the 1200 Block of Aynsley Ct. Frederick, MD, was found by workers working at the Frederick City water tower nearby. Detectives believe Pilvin was walking alongside the roadway where he collapsed and was found. Pilvin was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy, and the medical results are pending. At this time, based on the investigation by detectives, and based on the preliminary findings of the Medical Examiner’s Office, no foul play is believed to be involved, and the death does not appear suspicious. Additional updates may be released in the future, and there is no further information being released at this time.
