On 05-30-2013 members of the Frederick City Police Department responded to a number of counterfeit U.S currency cases involving the passing of $100.00 dollar bills.
The Frederick City Police Department is asking local businesses to be on the look out for the passing of counterfeit $100.00 dollar bills. On 05-30-2013, Frederick City Police were dispatched to a number of calls from local merchants involving the passing of fake $100.00 dollar bills. The suspect was described as black male in his twenties, clean cut, black sweatshirt, gray and green camo shorts, black tennis shoes and white calf length socks. On all occasions, the suspect entered the business and purchased gift cards with the counterfeit money.
The Frederick Police Department is asking its business owners and community to be aware of this situation and to call the police with any information.
