On 05-26-13, at approximately 1510 hours, Officers of the Frederick Police Patrol Division responded to the area of Burgess Hill Way and Creekside Dr in Taskers Chance for an armed robbery.

OFC K Jones arrived in the area and contacted the victim who relayed the following. As she was helping a family member move she noticed a black Mercedes Benz approach her and stop. The driver, an African American male in his late 20’s, close cut hair, medium build, average height, asked her how to get to Frederick. As the victim approached the passenger side of the vehicle, the male produced a small black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at her. The male told her “don’t yell, all we want is your money.”

The victim did not have any money on her, and the front seat passenger, a White or Hispanic female, late 20’s, small build with red frizzy hair and noticeable acne, began talking to a back seat passenger who appeared to the victim to be an Asian female in her late 20’s. After a few moments, the front seat passenger told the male “just go” and the vehicle sped away.

The vehicle was described as a 2000’s model Mercedes Benz with a beige interior and wood trim. The vehicle was very dirty and dusty. The victim was unable to obtain a registration plate. Approximately 40 minutes before this incident there was an armed robbery in Gambrill State Park involving a vehicle and suspects matching the description provided by the victim in this case.
