On today’s date the Frederick Police Department responded to a vehicular accident in which a pedestrian was struck in the parking lot of the Old Towne Tavern located in the 300 Blk of North Market Street.
On 05/02/2013 at approximately 12:31am, the Frederick Police Department responded to the Old Towne Tavern parking lot, located in the 300 Blk of North Market Street, for a single vehicle accident involving a struck pedestrian. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were immediately directed to the struck pedestrian who was later identified as Ricky Quan Shelton. Due to the injuries sustained by Shelton, he was flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Baltimore Shock Trauma Center for treatment. As the officers on scene continued the investigation, the driver of the striking vehicle was identified as Anthony James Cilluffo. Based on the circumstances of the accident and Cilluffo’s observed level of impairment, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. The Frederick Police Department is asking that anyone who may have witness the accident or may have further details about the incident to please contact OFC.
