On January 6th, 2013 at approximately 1900 hours, Officers responded to the area of Elmwood Terrace Apartments in reference to an armed robbery. While investigating the armed robbery Officers discover a male leaving the building with a quantity of CDS.
On January 6th 2013 at approximately 1900 hours, Officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Elmwood Terrace Apartments in reference to an armed robbery. Officers made contact with the victim, a Hispanic male who stated two black males robbed him. The victim described the suspects as the following: under 25 years of age, wearing all black and hooded sweatshirts and black pants. The victim was unable to provide much further description because the suspects were wearing masks. Several Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. A police K9 conducted a track in the area, but the track ended in the immediate area.
As Officers were in an apartment building making contact with residents attempting to locate witnesses a black male matching the description given by the victim exits a ground level apartment. The male refused to provide identification to the Officers and attempted to walk passed the Officers. As the male approached the Officers they smelled the odor of marijuana coming from his person. The male, identified as Wilson, Desean O., 24 year old from Frederick, was arrested. Upon searching his person and bag approximately 15 grams of marijuana and a large sum of cash was recovered.
Officer contacted the residents of the apartment Wilson exited and immediately smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the apartment. Two males were located inside the apartment. The males consented to a search of the apartment. During the search Officers located additional marijuana, a large sum of cash, variety of CDS paraphernalia to include packaging material and scales inside the bedroom of Ndori, Tinashe G. a 25 year old from Frederick who was subleasing the room from the resident.
The members from the Criminal Investigations Division and the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted the patrol units. Officer Justin Thomas and Officer Scott Grigbsy charged Wilson and Ndori with possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and several counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were transported and processed at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
