On 01/01/2013 at 1218 hours a shoplifting in progress at K-Mart was dispatched to Officer Prior. The officer arrived and met with loss prevention and the suspect. Loss prevention advised that they observed the suspect placing stolen items in a bag and exit the store. The total value of the stolen items was $260.55. The suspect was identified as Crystal Smith-Hewitt and she was transported to central booking for processing.
