The Criminal Investigation Division arrested a subject responsible for the downtown burglary of North End Cleaners & Alterations located at 413 North Market Street, Frederick Maryland.
On 07-03-2012 patrol units responded to 413 North Market Street for a commercial burglary. Upon there arrival they were greeted by the owner of the North End Cleaners & Alterations located at 413 North Market Street who stated that the business had been broken into. Entry into the business appeared to be from a side door, and police observed a small window broken, a bar removed from the side door, and a brick on the ground. The suspect removed an unknown amount of U.S currency from the business.
Det. K. Forrest, who is assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, was able to positively identify P.J. Dorsey as being responsible for the burglary at the cleaners. Mr. Dorsey, who is presently incarcerated at the Frederick County Adult detention center for the burglary of another business on North Market Street, was served with the open warrant by the patrol division on December 13th, 2012. Mr. Dorsey was charged with burglary in the 3rd degree and other criminal offenses.
