On 12/08/2012 at approximately 1244PM the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported armed home invasion burglary in the 400 Block of W South Street Frederick MD.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, later identified as Perry Eugene Lee Jr, forcibly entered a residence and sexually assaulted the victim. As officers were investigating the sexual assault, police received a report of a man with a gun in the area of S Market Street and All Saints Street. Officer Antczak and Officer Brown located a subject matching the description and a foot chase ensued. This suspect was apprehended and identified as Mr. Lee. Refer to the previous press release by Sgt Carr (Case # 2012-077074) for details of this case and arrest.
Detectives with the criminal investigation division responded and began investigating the sexual assault. Mr. Lee was identified as the suspect in the sexual assault case. During the arrest of Mr. Lee by Officer Antczak and Officer Brown, Mr. Lee was found to be in possession of a firearm used during the commission of the sexual assault and burglary.
Detective Morgan subsequently charged Mr. Lee with the below charges related to the sexual assault case.
