On 11/09/12, officers responded to a call for a commercial burglary in progress in the 100 block of S. Carroll St in downtown Frederick. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a witness and found boards pried away from a window opening. After the owner arrived, officers were able to gain entry and subsequently located a suspect inside attempting to hide from the officers. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Also located in his possession were tools used to gain entry into the building.
