Frederick Police Department detectives investigate shooting...
On 11/9/2012, at approximately 1734 hours, the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1000 Block of Heather Ridge Dr., Country Hill Apartments, for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male that had been shot in the torso. The male was flown to the University of Maryland’s R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and is listed in serious condition.
Witnesses saw the suspect fleeing the scene on foot and described the suspect as follows:
• Black male
• Light complexion
• Thin build
• Mask
• Dark hooded sweatshirt
• Khaki pants
This case is actively being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Frederick Police Department.
