[ARCHIVED] Revised - The City of Frederick Government Offices Closed on Veterans’ Day

The City of Frederick Government Offices will be closed in observance of Veterans’ Day on Monday, November 12, 2012. Offices will reopen at regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

The City of Frederick Government Offices Closed on Veterans’ Day

Frederick, MD -- The City of Frederick Government Offices will be closed in observance of Veterans’ Day on Monday, November 12, 2012. Offices will reopen at regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

Clarification to the schedule is as follows:

• All parking decks and metered parking will be free in downtown Frederick

• The William Talley Recreation Center will be open for business as usual on Veterans’ Day.

• The Frederick Community Action Agency Soup Kitchen will be open from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.

• The FCAA and Foodbank will be closed

• Yard waste for NAC Area 6 will not be collected on Monday, November 12th. It will be necessary for all yard waste to be held until next regularly scheduled pick up day of Monday, Nov. 26th.

• Trash will be collected on Veterans’ Day, Monday, November 12th in the following areas only:
o Downtown Commercial District
o Downtown Business Recycling will be provided on Monday, November 12th as per the regular schedule.

• All other areas in the City will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
