Frederick Roller Derby (FRD) is a flat-track roller derby league. We aim to provide an accessible way to empower skaters (of all genders and skill levels) to learn and play the sport of flat track roller derby in a safe, supportive, diverse, and welcoming environment. Our new skaters program or Fresh Meat program is an average of 16 weeks to train new or inexperienced skaters in the game of roller derby. Skaters will be made aware of other roller derby opportunities during this program it is entirely voluntary to participate in opportunities not mentioned above.
