Learn to play single note guitar solos. The instructor will draw from several guitar sources and uses a novel guitar theory book to teach guitarist at many levels how to improve their improvisation ability. This 10 week course will differentiate between beginner to intermediate and intermediate to advanced players. Students will learn the basics of soloing and also learn a new approach to soloing where they use harmony fragments and harmony as the foundation of soloing. This course is designed to improve any guitar player and not specific for styles or genres. Bring guitar, music stand, tablature paper and notebook. Additional $20 textbook cost required, paid to instructor at first class. Under 18 yrs permitted with instructor approval.
