Purpose
The Commission will advise City officials and staff on policies, programs, and issues relating to City programs, classes, and facilities.
Members
Ordinance G-19-35 provides for staggered terms of less than 3 years in order to stagger the terms of the Commission as a whole. There are ten members; nine voting citizens and one non-voting Alderman. Members must reside or own property in the City.

If you are interested in an appointment to a citizen board or commission, please complete the Commission Vacancy Application. Members of the Parks & Recreation Commission must reside or own property in the City. There is currently one vacancy.
