ACT! SING! DANCE! Join us for a fun filled two weeks of classes, exercises and activities all in preparation for a final production of MARY POPPINS JR. Each day will introduce a different component of musical theatre that will explore character development, intro to dance, vocal harmony and improv – just to name a few! In addition, students will help create costumes, sets and props for the show. Two performances in our 115 seat theatre on Saturday 7/21. All participating students receive a workshop t-shirt!

Nothing builds character, confidence and friendship like River Riders Outdoor Adventure Camps. If your camper is tired of the same ol’, rejuvenate them with an unforgettable outdoor experience in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia! Whitewater rafting, kayaking, tubing, zip line and aerial adventure park activities will provide excitement for any camper! Each activity is facilitated by River Rider’s highly trained guides, who make it their goal to share their experience and passion for adventure and exploration with your camper. Outdoor Adventure Camp runs weekly sessions and are able to provide transportation to and from the Frederick area. A shuttle will be provided for an additional cost to and from Prospect Plaza with a minimum amount of participants.

Boys and Girls will focus on the basic tumbling skills. Forward rolls, backward rolls, hand stands, headstands, round offs, cartwheels and walkovers are just the beginning of the skills they will learn in our ½ day camp. They will learn basic skills and jumps on the trampoline to help develop leg strength and air and body awareness as well as working on their balance, coordination, flexibility & core strength with daily conditioning drills. During our camp students will not only be practicing their gymnastics skills but they will be doing a daily craft and other fun and challenging activities. All participants should bring 1-2 snacks and water for breaks. There will be a showcase of skills on Friday for you to enjoy, so have your camera ready! There are no refunds or credits for summer camps.

Come learn engineering strategies for building sturdy structures using LEGO® bricks and then apply that knowledge to build a robot for friendly competition. You’ll have a blast as you play robot football and complete the hoop challenge in this fun robotics program.
