More fresh food is planned to be available to low-income City residents because the City of Frederick’s Sustainability program has earned an $8,100 public health grant.
The money is to benefit a food growing program begun by the Frederick Food Security Network. Food and nutrition are one sector in the City’s sustainability plan.
