May 18-19 Garden Tour Features Finest Flora

See gardens, shop at markets: The Green-walled Garden Club and Celebrate Frederick, Inc. are excited to include a Garden Market as part of the 2019 Beyond the Garden Gates Garden Tour on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 1 – 5 p.m.

The 2019 Beyond the Garden Gates Garden tour will highlight a variety of gardens, from elegant and formal to casual and whimsical, in downtown Frederick and Baker Park.  The tour will include 11 gardens. Tickets are available for purchase online at CelebrateFrederick.com or at the Frederick County Visitors Center, 151 S. East St.

The Market will be held in Schley Park and will include handmade crafts and home baked goods. Crafts, featuring a garden motif, will include sachets, wearable art, small handbags, notecards, pillows and specialty yard art. Planters including terrariums, succulent and herb gardens will be available, and baked goods featuring savory herbs.
