Sunday, Free Summer Music Concerts Start Up

Janglebachs to perform: Enjoy the music that changed the world and the lives of the generations that followed influencing the British Invasion, West-Coast Psychedelic, Country Rock, Pop and Soul.

Celebrate Frederick is kicking off the 2018 Summer Concert Series, featuring 12 free musical performances, Sunday, June 10, in the Baker Park Band Shell from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with The Janglebachs, presented by Tobacco Free Frederick.

The series's opening night entertainers, The Janglebachs, are known for performing the music of the Woodstock generation. Experience the music that embodied restlessness and social upheaval, unforgettable melodies, irresistible beats and pure musical joy!

While each series performance is free to the public, the Summer Concert Series Committee encourages each guest to bring a canned food item in lieu of admission to support the Foodbank Program operated by the Frederick Community Action Agency. Non-perishable items such as canned meats and vegetables, soups, peanut butter, cereal, rice and pastas are preferred and appreciated.
Information: 301-600-CITY (2489) or visit CelebrateFrederick.com.

2018 event partners make the series possible: Frederick Magazine, The Frederick News-Post, Tobacco Free Frederick and The City of Frederick
