City Earns High Marks for LGBTQ Inclusivity

Frederick scored 100 percent on the Municipal Equality Index measure of inclusiveness.

Frederick earned a score of 100 percent on a Municipal Equality Index measure of inclusiveness, according to The Human Rights Campaign, a leading advocate for gender equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. The Human Rights Campaign released its Municipal Equality Index today, showing that Frederick exceeded nearly all of the campaign’s standards for workplace environment and public services.
