FREDERICK, Md., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 — Due to inclement weather, the Weinberg Center for the Arts has rescheduled its presentation of Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live, which was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 15 at 7pm. The performance has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 13 at 7pm.

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live is produced in North America by Red Tail Entertainment, which produces a wide range of spectacular live entertainment and presents a variety of live performances by headline entertainers throughout the U.S. Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live is the creation of one of Australia’s most innovative and creative companies, Erth Visual & Physical, Inc. For over 21 years, the company has developed a truly fantastic aesthetic and extraordinary box of tricks, which now serve as the foundations of its unique visual and physical theatre work. Their work ranges from large-scale interactive environments such as “The Garden,” a prehistoric landscape inhabited by giant insects which premiered at the Melbourne International Festival of Arts, to more intimate in-theatre work and roving spectaculars. The company regularly tours internationally and more than a million people have seen its dinosaurs in museums and in performance works such as “Radio Lab’s Apocalyptical,” “Dinosaur Petting Zoo™,” and “Dinosaur Zoo Live™.”

This presentation of Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live is sponsored by CARE Veterinary Center. The Weinberg Center for the Arts’ 2016-2017 Family Series is presented by the Frederick Keys. A complete listing of artists and performers scheduled for the 2016-2017 season can be found at WeinbergCenter.org.
